We match liner thickness to how your Minnetonka, MN space is actually used, not a one-size-fits-all default.
Minnetonka, MN crawl spaces and basements see different levels of ground moisture depending on soil type and grading, which is part of why we size liner thickness to the specific space instead of defaulting to the same product every time.
Seam tape and pier wrapping are done to the standard that keeps warranties valid.
Vapor barrier installation is typically a quicker job than full encapsulation, and we can often schedule Minnetonka, MN appointments within a few days.
No surprise add-ons — the number we quote covers material and labor for the full scope discussed.
We recommend liner thickness based on foot traffic, storage use, and moisture severity, not just selling the thickest option by default.
We scope every Vapor Barrier Installation job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
We overlap seams per manufacturer spec and seal them with rated tape, not just tucked edges that separate over time.
This is often done in coordination with a flooring contractor's timeline, and we can work around scheduled installation dates.
We use pier boots designed specifically for this purpose rather than improvised wrapping that fails within a year or two.
Existing vapor barriers with failed or separated seams can often be repaired rather than fully replaced, extending the life of a system that's otherwise sound.
Old, torn, or undersized ground cover gets removed and replaced with properly rated liner sized to fully cover the space, piers included.
Tell us the square footage, whether it's a crawl space or basement, and how the space is used so we can recommend the right thickness.
A technician measures the space, checks existing ground cover condition if any, and counts piers or posts that will need wrapping.
We explain why a given thickness fits your space's usage rather than defaulting to the most expensive liner.
We walk the finished installation with you to confirm seams are properly sealed before calling the job complete.
